Essentially a one-man project by JayJay, Envelopes And Seabirds was a shoegaze/ jangle pop mixture formed in 2001 and was influenced heavily by McCarthy, Pale Saints and Revolver. The band never played live as JayJay concentrated on recording several songs in his home studio. None were properly released. He continued making music as Northern Express and Bubble-Based Boy and is currently working on a new project, Adventures In Rhythm.
This is some really fun electronic music with a good cyberpunk feeling to it. Dark electro without really being dark. Something for those into EBM and genre definitions like that. It will appeal to those who enjoy our electronic music a bit on the dark side. Aldo Quispel
