Sound Architects is a four-piece instrumental rock outfit based in
Quezon City. Formed in 2014 and taking cues from a variety of styles and genres including post-rock, shoegaze, doom metal, and 21st century contemporary classical music, the band focuses on creating atmospheric pieces of music through utilizing various sonic textures and dynamic contrasts. Their debut album In Time Of Need was released in 2017 and was noted by Young Star as having “mastered the balance between atmosphere and aggression.” In 2019, the band released a 3-track EP called Transfer Protocol as a prelude to their upcoming second full-length album. The self-produced and self-recorded EP marked a shift in sound, veering away from their established style and exploring different sounds by incorporating new ideas into their music. The band recently released their second full-length album, Regenesis last February 1st. Find them on Bandcamp: soundarchitects.bandcamp.com
